Mark Lizar 

Executive Director 

Post Graduate, MSc in Social Research Methods, with degree's in Law, Sociology/Anthropology and Criminal Justice Policy, Mark starte working in the fledgling digital identity industry in 1998 at Entrust, and CryptoCard.   Through his career, Mark has pioneered surveillance transaprency, digital privacy, digital consent, and is the inventor of Decentralised Data Governance.  Global Privacy Rights, is the evolution of this work in the security and privacy industry, pioneering consent in surveillance. He established the first digital identity trust industry workgroup in 2005 (at Identity Commons), invented trust registries, is the inventor of the consent receipt, and co-inventor knowledge banking security architecture,  Now authoriting and championing digital transparency and consent standards, consent by default for GenAI, Digital Twins, and Age Assurance in the 0PN Transparency Lab. Champing international notice and  consent standards as co-chair of the ANCR WG at the Kantara Initiative.   Mark representes Canada at ISO  for digital trust transparency for the international commons and commonweatlh.     

Paul Knowles 

Director of Data Governacne 

is the inventor of 'Decentralised Semantics' and co-founder of the Human Colossus Foundation, where he serves as Chair of the Decentralised Semantics Working Group. With over 25 years of experience in pharmaceutical biometrics at companies such as Roche, Novartis, GlaxoSmithKline, Amgen, and Pfizer, he has become a leading figure in developing decentralised data infrastructures. His contributions include the Overlays Capture Architecture (OCA), a framework for semantic interoperability, and he holds advisory roles at Secours.ai and 0PN Governance Architecture,  Working in the Transparency Lab Pioneer next generation data controls Standards Engineering at Global Privacy Rights. Paul is a published author on self-sovereign identity and decentralised semantics, with papers focusing on distributed health data ecosystems and harmonising quantitative medical data.

 

Joel Geddes 

Director of Production at Global Privacy Rights, Joel as decades of experience digital brand production, a master at video capture, production and client management, he brings 25 years of operational production experience to the team.
